I'm a Sponsor!

I have the honor of being a sponsor for 3 lovely companies! They all are different in many ways but have one thing in common: they are all preppy! I also have many discount codes that you can use when you purchase from these companies and I get rewarded for how many times they are used!

The Country Clup Prep

This company is so unique because it sells tons of famous brands often for less!
Vineyard Vines, Lilly Pulitzer, and Frat Collection; they have it all!
Another unique feature is they tell a synopsis about how the companies were founded.

My code: ccprep will take 20% off at checkout! Please use this code as you wish! Also the company has free shipping anywhere in the US!

One of my personal favs from this website is this cute Southern Proper hat!

Here is their website:

Lilly Coastal

Lilly Coastal was the first company I became a rep for. Kayla, the owner, makes handmade Lilly Inspired products.

The first product she made she Lilly Monogramed coasters. These are adorable and durable! Perfect to protect your wooden table!

Then she added Lilly Monogramed mousepads! So cute!!!

Lastly she paints Lilly patterns on shot glasses!

All these items are adorable and can be found here:

And my discount codes are 'preppy20'. This can be used to save 20% on $12 or more. Also you can use 'classy' to save $2 off $5!

My Dream Wedding

Even though I'm only in high school, I still dream about my wedding! I love searching through Pinterest at all the easy DIY projects to help meet my wedding budget! After seeing tons of different themes, I soon realized only one was for me. What which one is that you may ask. Definitly a preppy wedding!

The theme will be yacht casual so I'm thinking the dress code for the guys could be khaki pants and a nice oxford, preferable Vineyard Vines! And for the women a nice sun dress or skirt with a blouse would work! I absolutely love planning my wedding and I can't wait til my dreams come true!

The wedding will take place in Cape Cod on the water but not on a beach. The ceremony will be outside and decorated with white flowers. Guests will sit in  adirondack chairs. I hope both my parents will walk me down the isle. My younger sister will be my Maid of honor. My brides maids will either wear skirts or sun dresses to support the yacht casual theme! My ceremony will be traditional vows but short.

The reception will take place on a yatch near by. I haven't decided if I want it to be docked or floating along side the Cape. The food will be mostly seafood and pasta. My cake will also have a sailor feel. The center pieces will be shells while the wedding favors will be compasses on everyone's plate.

I don't think I've left out anythink but if I have please comment below! I love hearing my readers opinions!

I can't wait to get married and I hope it goes as planned!

My birthday plans!

My 18th birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I'm so excited! I can't believe I'm going to be an adult! My plans are to go to Nashville (I live in TN) and ride the General Jackson Showboat! Since Nashville is the country music capital they have certain attractions that are geared towards showing off the local talent. While on the boat we'll sail around the city, dine on southern style cookin', and listen to country music played by aspiring artists! After the boat trip which will likely take a few hours, we'll go over to one of Nashville's many malls to peruse the stores.

As for the gifts I'm getting two Lilly Pulitzer polos. One is pink and the other blue. Both sure to match my Lilly skirt I got over the summer. Also a Vineyard Vines skirt and sweater. They'll be perfect for this fall! Another gift I can't wait to open is my first Kate Spade wristlet! I can't wait to wear it! Lastly but not least I'm getting a North Face backpack but I'm opening that early since my school starts before my birthday.

I think it's going to be a birthday I'll never forget!

My favorite brands

Lilly Pulitzer
I recently got two Lilly Polos and got free shipping with the code 'welcome'. They are adorable! Tip: get a size smaller because sizes tend to run big!

Vineyard Vines
Definitly on the more expensive side! The quality is the best! Just make sure you get a discount.

Lilly Coastal
I'm actually a sponsor for this up and coming company! The owner makes handmade Monogramed Lilly Pulitzer coasters and mouse pads! They are affordable and adorable! Use my code 'preppy20' to get 20% off at checkout! She also offers free shopping! Here's the link!

What does it mean to be a prep?

What does it mean to be a 'prep'? Is it the way to look? Act? Feel? It's all of the above! Preppy is a way of life! It starts in the morning when you wake up. What do you wear? Well a prep would wear her favorite Lilly dress and Jack Rogers sandals. What if the event isn't that formal? Maybe a trip to Starbucks with your friends. What's the perfect outfit? Maybe Lauren James shorts and aVineyard Vines shirt!
Being a prep also involves how a person acts. When problems arise do you get furious and have a temper tantrum like a toddler going through his terrible twos? No you stand up, take a breathe, and handle the issue calmly and classy. There's no need to lose your head or dignity!
Lastly but not least, a prep feels passionate about what she believes in and is not easily  suede . Whether it's politics or her favorite brand  of lipgloss, she's always 'prep'ared to go head to head and defend her chose!
Just remember, the classy ones are the ones that people turn to in a crisis because they are always the ones who have everything together from there attitude to there outfit!
